Origins

Nearly 20 years of establishment and development reflect an aspiration to elevate educational quality through scientific knowledge. The Institute of Education Sciences and Training Research has remained a steadfast partner to schools, families and communities. Each stage marks a step forward in standardizing content, refining models, and expanding partnerships, delivering education solutions grounded in Vietnam’s realities and aligned with international standards.

Science Connected to Practice

Building on interdisciplinary research and an evidence-based approach, the Institute of Education Sciences and Training Research chooses to start from the real-life needs of schools, families and communities. Through surveys, classroom observations and in-depth dialogues, the Institute focuses on applying core values from design thinking to educational solutions with clear objectives, aligned with context and feasible for implementation. With a spirit of respect for people and a strong emphasis on humanistic values, the Institute strives for positive changes that can be observed in children’s behaviors, skills and competencies.

ERA Kids is a pioneering educational ecosystem in sex education and child abuse prevention skills for children. It has been recognized for its outstanding achievements as follows:

  1. In 2023, it was honored with a Vietnam Record and a Global Vietnamese Record, recognized by the Vietnam Records Organization (VietKings) and the Global Vietnamese Record Organization: The first organization to compile and publish a bilingual English–Vietnamese publication set on sex education and child abuse prevention for children (ages 3–15).

  2. In 2024, it received an Asia Record, recognized by the Asia Book of Records: The organization that implemented a multilingual project on sex education and child abuse prevention for children (ages 3–15) through a comprehensive product ecosystem, an application, and diversified communication formats across media platforms.

Standardization for Sustainable Impact

Throughout its development, the Institute of Education Sciences and Training Research places special emphasis on standardizing content, models and implementation processes to ensure consistent quality at scale. From unified terminology and age-appropriate learning materials to refined implementation guidelines and clear monitoring-evaluation criteria, every component is designed to be consistent, safe and measurable in terms of impact. Through iterative cycles of piloting, evaluation, and improvement, the Institute steadily enhances effectiveness, reduces implementation gaps and builds a strong foundation for sustainable scaling.
