What I appreciate most about ERA is that teachers are not put in an awkward position when sensitive questions arise. The materials provide safe, neutral and respectful ways to respond to children. As a result, I feel more confident and can maintain consistency in every lesson.
From a professional perspective, ERA has a strong content structure and effective risk management: consistent terminology, clear guidance on how to respond when children share sensitive topics, and recommendations for coordinated school–family collaboration. These are essential factors for implementing sex education in a safe and responsible way.
With ERA Kids, I feel reassured because the content is ‘filtered at the right level’ clear, respectful and developmentally appropriate, without causing discomfort or negative reactions in children. The at-home discussion prompts also help families maintain consistent messages with the school.
After a period of using the ERA Kids application, noticeable changes can be seen in children’s awareness of private areas, their understanding of appropriate and inappropriate touch and their ability to identify trusted adults. Parents have also provided positive feedback, appreciating the respectful, age-appropriate and non-sensitive content.
The document standardization process is highly effective, from content structure and terminology to consistent implementation guidelines. This significantly reduces quality discrepancies across implementation sites and saves time for project teams.
I highly value the evidence-based working approach, characterized by clear objectives, well-structured processes and a strong focus on implementable outcomes. The products are well standardized, enabling effective application and monitoring.
Multi-stakeholder connectivity is a clear advantage: experts, educational institutions, partners and communities come together toward a shared standard. This collaborative approach helps transform research into tangible, real-world impact.
