Activity in Response to International Women’s Day (March 8) at Thu Duc Youth Village

In response to International Women’s Day (March 8), the Institute of Education Sciences and Training Research collaborated with Thu Duc Youth Village to organize a thematic session titled “Gender Equality and the Prevention and Response to Gender-Based Violence” for the staff and officials of the unit. The activity aimed to enhance awareness of gender equality and contribute to building a safe and respectful environment for child care and education.

The session was delivered by Mrs. Tran Thi Que Chi – Vice Dean of the Institute of Education Sciences and Training Research. Through practical and informative discussions, the program helped staff members gain a clearer understanding of gender concepts, identify different forms of gender-based violence, and strengthen their capacity to prevent and respond to potential risks in the process of caring for and educating children.

This activity holds meaningful significance in celebration of International Women’s Day (March 8), while also spreading messages of equality, respect, and shared responsibility in protecting children—values that the Institute of Education Sciences and Training Research consistently promotes through its professional and community initiatives.
