Professional development activity on sex education and prevention of child abuse in preschool settings

On January 28, 2026, the Institute of Education Sciences and Training Research participated in a professional development session of Cluster 14 held in Long Hòa Ward, Ho Chi Minh City, with the theme “Applying Artificial Intelligence and ERA KIDS in Sex Education and Child Abuse Prevention Skills for Preschool Children”.
At the session, Mrs. Trần Thị Quế Chi, Vice Dean of the Institute of Education Sciences and Training Research, shared a scientific approach to early sex education that is appropriate to the psychological and developmental characteristics of preschool children. She also emphasized the role of technology and artificial intelligence in supporting teachers to design instructional content that is visual, accessible, and effective.
The session contributed to strengthening professional exchange, experience sharing, and the updating of appropriate educational approaches, thereby enhancing the effectiveness of sex education and self-protection skills for children within school environments.
Through this activity, the Institute of Education Sciences and Training Research continues to affirm its role in accompanying educational institutions in applying science and technology to educational practice, with the aim of building safe, humane, and sustainable learning environments.
