In accordance with the professional development plan of Cluster 12 – Preschool Education, the thematic session “Sex Education and Self-Protection Skills for Preschool Children” was organized at Hoa Mai Preschool, with the participation of administrators, teachers from schools within the cluster, parents, and all children of the school.
The program was implemented through age-appropriate illustrative activities, pedagogical scenarios, and interactive approaches. These activities supported preschool children in developing initial awareness of their bodies, understanding personal safety boundaries, and forming basic self-protection skills in alignment with their psychological and developmental characteristics.

The thematic session contributed to enhancing the effectiveness of professional activities within Cluster 12 and was implemented based on the content and educational materials of the ERA Kids Sex Education Project. It supported teachers in improving their awareness, methodologies, and skills in delivering sex education and self-protection education for preschool children in practical teaching contexts, while also strengthening cooperation between schools and parents in the care, education, and protection of children.
The Institute of Education Sciences and Training Research continues to accompany educational institutions in implementing educational activities aimed at ensuring safety and promoting the comprehensive and sustainable development of children.
