(QK7 Online) – On May 29, Military Region 7 organized a training course on population, family, and children affairs. The event also launched the Action Month for Children and the National Action Month for Domestic Violence Prevention and Control within the Military Region’s Armed Forces for 2026. Major General Tran Chi Tam, Member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee, Deputy Political Commissar, and Chairman of the Committee for Population, Family, and Children of the Military Region, attended and delivered instructions to the training class.

The training course was also attended by Senior Colonel Le Chi Dung, Deputy Chief of Logistics and Engineering of the Military Region; Mrs. Tran Thi Que Chi (Master’s degree), Vice Dean of the Institute of Education Sciences and Training Research; Heads and Deputy Heads of the Committees for Population, Family, and Children; along with officers in charge of population, family, and children affairs from various agencies and units across the Military Region’s Armed Forces.


During the one-day course, delegates were updated on and thoroughly briefed on several essential skills, including building harmonious, connected, and loving families; accompanying children through each developmental stage; and teaching life skills, self-protection skills, and techniques for listening to and understanding children. The course also provided updates on pre-marital health counseling and examinations, reproductive healthcare services, and guidelines for implementing infertility support policies. Additionally, it covered domestic violence prevention, child abuse prevention, updates on the national replacement fertility level program until 2030, and the program on protecting and supporting children’s development in the cyber environment for the 2026–2030 period.
The conference deployed the main themes and core contents to effectively implement the Action Month for Children and the National Action Month for Domestic Violence Prevention and Control within the Military Region’s Armed Forces in 2026.

In his directive speech, Major General Tran Chi Tam requested that the Organizing Committee proactively manage the training course in a scientific and effective manner, strictly adhering to the approved contents and agenda. The committee must ensure comprehensive preparations so that the course runs smoothly and achieves its set goals and requirements; strictly enforce regulations and ensure absolute safety throughout the training process; and compile and submit proposal reports as prescribed.
For the lecturers, the Major General emphasized the need to uphold a high sense of responsibility, deliver their assigned topics effectively, and focus on key issues and new updates. They should combine theory with practical application tailored to reality, using appropriate and effective communication methods, while engaging in discussions to address and provide guidance on resolving bottlenecks during implementation.

For the participating officers, Major General Tran Chi Tam demanded a high spirit, positive attitude, and high responsibility to fully participate in all agenda items. They must focus on the lecturers’ presentations and actively discuss unresolved issues to establish a solid foundation for organizing training sessions at their respective agencies and units. Furthermore, they must strictly comply with military discipline and the regulations set by the Organizing Committee.
