Commemorating the 136th Anniversary of the Birth of President Ho Chi Minh (May 19, 1890 – May 19, 2026)

May arrives with the sacred red colors of flags and flowers, filling our hearts with national pride as we respectfully commemorate the great President Ho Chi Minh – the brilliant leader, national liberation hero, and world cultural icon.

During his lifetime, President Ho Chi Minh always devoted deep love and care to children – the future buds of the nation. He once taught:
“Children are like buds on a branch,
Knowing how to eat, sleep, and study is well-behaved”

To President Ho Chi Minh, educating children from their earliest years was an important foundation for shaping the personality, morality, and intellect of future generations. He consistently emphasized the role of families, schools, and society in caring for, nurturing, and educating children to become good citizens who are loving, polite, diligent, and beneficial to the community. Although he has gone far away, the ideology, morality, and boundless love of President Ho Chi Minh continue to live forever in the hearts of generations of Vietnamese people. His teachings remain a precious guiding principle for education and the mission of “cultivating people” today.

On the occasion of the 136th anniversary of the birth of the great President Ho Chi Minh, every educator, teacher, parent, and member of society is reminded of the responsibility to care for and educate children with love, patience, and humane values. This is also a meaningful way to continue the noble educational philosophy that President Ho Chi Minh devoted his entire life to nurturing for future generations of the nation.

Forever grateful for the immense contributions of the great President Ho Chi Minh!
