On the morning of May 21st, the Institute of Education Sciences and Training Research collaborated with Tan Phuoc Khanh Preschool to organize a specialized workshop: “Sexuality Education and Abuse Prevention Skills for Preschoolers.” The event was attended by the School Board, representatives of the Women’s Union, the Parent-Teacher Association, numerous parents, staff, and our beloved students.

Sexuality Education: Building an Early Psychological “Immune System”
Sexuality education at the preschool level is not merely about teaching anatomy; more importantly, it is about teaching children to love and respect themselves while identifying “safety boundaries.” Equipping children with the right knowledge from an early age serves as the sturdiest “shield,” helping them proactively protect themselves from potential risks.

Visual Education Methods – “Learning Through Play”
To make professional knowledge accessible to young children, the program featured various interactive activities:
– Knowledge Playground: Through the “Golden Bell Challenge” and the “Swimsuit Rule,” children developed natural reflexes to protect their bodies.
– Visual Approach: The use of specialized educational tools helped children memorize deeply while excitedly participating with their peers.

The Role of Parents: The Safest Anchor
During the discussion session for parents, M.A. Tran Thi Que Chi – Vice President of the Institute of Education Sciences and Training Research, provided direct consultation on modern parenting approaches:
– Removing Hesitation: Turning conversations about sexuality into natural, everyday stories.
– Proactive Observation Skills: Early identification of changes in psychological and physiological signs to ensure timely intervention.
– Building Trust: Establishing a strong bond so that children feel ready to share all difficulties, viewing parents as their primary “safe zone.”

The Institute of Education Sciences and Training Research would like to express our sincere gratitude to the School Board of Tan Phuoc Khanh Preschool, the representatives of the Women’s Union, and all parents for joining hands to create a deeply humane educational forum. The close collaboration between Family and School serves as the firmest foundation for every child to grow up under comprehensive protection.
