On the morning of July 4, 2026, at the Ward Bay Hien Public Service Supply Center, the Ward’s Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee coordinated with the Ward People’s Committee and socio-political organizations to host the 2026 Happy Family Festival, practically celebrating the 25th anniversary of Vietnam Family Day (June 28, 2001 – June 28, 2026).
Within the framework of the program, all attending guests had the opportunity to listen to in-depth insights from Ms. Tran Thi Que Chi – Vice Dean of the Institute Education Sciences and Training Research, and Co-author of the book “Principles of Parenting”.
Through the professional lens of psychology and education, the Vice Dean brought a fresh and humane perspective: Motherhood is a special “Profession”. It is a profession without formal schooling, without days off, and without material compensation. However, the greatest reward for those in this “Profession” is the happiness of seeing a peaceful home and witnessing their children grow up safely, stepping firmly into life.
To effectively accompany children, Ms. Tran Thi Que Chi emphasized 5 golden principles for mothers:
– Principle 1: Do Not Prejudge Gender Diversity
– Principle 2: Build Character Through Family Honor and Integrity
– Principle 3: Respect Privacy Externally, Ensure Protection Internally
– Principle 4: Say No to Pornography
– Principle 5: Self-Defense
The journey of motherhood is indeed fraught with challenges, but when guided in the right direction with understanding, a scientific foundation, and unconditional love, that journey becomes much more fulfilling.
